Woodstock was just included in Money Magazine’s list of Best Places to Live in 2021! This is Woodstock’s third time to be recognized as one of Money’s Top Places to Live, with the first included in 2015. Last year, Woodstock made the list at number 17, and this year, it ranked at 31.
To determine their rankings, Money analyzed thousands of different places in the United States with populations ranging from 25,000 up to 500,000. Then, they looked at nearly 100 different metrics with a total of over 300,000 different data points organized into nine categories:
Cost of Living
Health & safety
Income & personal finances
Quality of life
To keep their goal of highlighting the affordability of each location, they put extra weight on the cost of living, economic opportunity, and housing affordability.
