Watch Out For Scam Artists After Closing
A week or two after closing, you may receive what looks like an official bill called a RECORDED DEED NOTICE to pay money for a copy of your deed or record of title as part of a recommended Property Assessment Profile the mailer says all homeowners should have.
Don’t fall for this SCAM!
The closing attorney will mail you the original copy of your recorded deed, and a copy of the recorded deed will also be stored at the county courthouse where your property is located.
If you ever need a copy of your deed, simply reach out to us at Path & Post and we are happy to get a copy of your deed and email it to you.
