Mardis Gras in Woodstock

Spend the first Friday of every month in Downtown Woodstock and enjoy the many restaurants and stores that the area has to offer as the Downtown Merchants stay open late, 6pm-9pm, and celebrate with a themed downtown wide festival. For each Friday Night Live theme participating Downtown Merchants will have activities going on at their stores and throughout the Downtown area related to the theme of the month.

Friday Night Live “Mardi Gras on Main” March 7th 6pm to 9pm

The spirit of Mardi Gras comes to Downtown Woodstock. Kick off March in style and celebrate Mardi Gras on Main in Downtown Woodstock. Mardi Gras on Main will feature the crowning of a Mardi Gras King & Queen

Mardi Gras foot parade will start at 8pm next to Ipp’s. Everyone is welcome to join this fun walking parade as it walks the loop around Downtown Woodstock. The parade will end at the Gazebo where we will crown the king & queen of Mardi Gras on Main

Event will feature live music on the sidewalks in Downtown Woodstock

$100 Downtown Gift Certificate Giveaway. Every $10 you spend at a Downtown business during Friday Night Live can enter you into a drawing for a $100 Downtown Dollars Gift Certificate. Just bring your receipt for any purchase made at a Downtown business during the event to the Woodstock Visitors Center to enter the contest. For example if your spend $50 you will be entered 5 times into the drawing

Mardi Gras on Main will offer a chance to throw a pie at Etowah High School Teachers! A fundraising project to support the Etowah High School senior class gift by paying just $1 you will have the chance to “pie” participating Etowah teachers. Will take place on the front lawn of City Center from 6pm-7:30pm during Friday Night Live
