Cherokee County, GA is home to one of the premier school districts in the State of Georgia and the Nation. There was a time when this statement could not have been farther from the truth. Some of the CCSD’s achievements are:
– District SAT scores are 69 points above the national average and 115 points above the state average.
– The district attracts the best teachers with a very competitive starting salary of $41,915 and all are deemed “Highly Qualified”
– Every school has wireless technology, computer labs and interactive whiteboards in classrooms.
