Big Store Opening In Woodstock

Costco Woodstock Georgia

When we say BIG, we mean in both size and impact.

Costco is opening a 154,000 square foot store in Woodstock. The new store will have 200 employees. The store is planning a grand opening on Thursday August 9, at 8:00am.

The new Costco location is near the Outlet Shoppes of Atlanta, at 113 Lincoln Street off the Ridgewalk Parkway exit on I-575.

We have it on good authority that Costco is supporting local Cherokee County businesses by featuring Reformation Brewery the first few days of opening next Thursday -Saturday.

Costco Warehouse in Woodstock will have an ATM, food court, pharmacy, 18-pump gas station including diesel fuel, auto buying program, independent optometrist service, hearing aid service, and travel service, along with a bakery, and fresh meat, deli and produce.

Annual memberships include personal and business options ranging from $60 to $120. New members will receive a special offer for signing up.

Regular store hours after the grand opening will be Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 8:30pm, Saturday 9:30am – 7:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am – 6:00pm.

Costco began in 1976 in San Diego under the Price Club name, and has grown to annual worldwide sales of $126 billion. In addition to the new Woodstock store, Costco is opening 10 other stores in August, September and October this year. New U.S. locations include South Carolina, Maryland, California, Texas, and Iowa, and international locations include Canada, Mexico, Korea, and Australia.
