Nestled along Settingdown Creek, this gorgeous park includes a historic covered bridge, beautiful creek views, a playground, picnic pavilions with grills, picnic tables along the creek, a memorial garden, and public restrooms.

Poole’s Mill Covered Bridge Park is a photographer’s delight, and makes a perfect backdrop for family photos or engagement pictures!
Not only is this one of the top nature parks in Ball Ground, it’s also one of the best family parks. The 10-acre park, located at 7725 Poole’s Mill Road in Ball Ground, is known for it’s kid-friendly, small waterfalls, so you may want to bring a bathing suit and float! The covered pavilion and grills are great for a creekside barbeque or birthday party. The pavilion, which seats 60, can be reserved for $75 a day.
Not only is this park a great place to enjoy the outdoors, it’s also fun to learn a bit about the history of the historic bridge. Originally constructed as part of an 1820s mill, the bridge is all that remains as a reminder of the once bustling mill.
