The 34th annual Riverfest Arts & Crafts festival in Canton is coming soon! Riverfest will be Saturday, September 29, 10am – 6pm and Sunday, September 30, 10am – 5pm.
If you’ve never been to Riverfest in Canton, Georgia, you’re missing out! Riverfest is hands down one of the best festivals, not only in Canton, but in the entire state. The arts and crafts show is put on annually by the Service League of Cherokee County and benefits local children in need. The event includes a wealth of handmade art and beautiful crafts, plenty of festival food, wonderful entertainment including music and dancing, and an impressive children’s area.
The smell of freshly popped kettle corn, smoking barbecue pork, and rich homemade fudge fills the air at Etowah River Park, where the event is held. The park runs along the beautiful Etowah River, adding to the great ambiance at the event.

Perfect for the Family
The children’s area is enough to excite kids of all ages! With face painting, sand art, animals to pet, and much, much more, this festival is sure to be a hit for the entire family. After perusing the vendor booths, you can grab some authentic Southern food from the many food trucks and vendors, and sit down at the main stage for some local entertainment. Cloggers, musicians, and dance groups frequent the stage.
The festival is handicap accessible, and admission costs just $5 for those 11 and older, including adults. The event is held at Etowah River Park, at 600 Brown Industrial Parkway. No coolers, bicycles, skateboards, or alcoholic beverages are allowed at the event.
